100ARTWORKS PROUDLY PRESENTS... BIC

Bitches in Control, or BIC, is a collective of two tough chicks that have been working together since 2003. They met at Punct, a gallery for young artists in Tilburg, and started working together.

After a period of time where the BIC members F.Lady and Lowlita made a lot of works in the street (stickers, posters and graffiti), they both finished their studies at the art academy and started to make free work. Between 2003-2005 they also organised exhibitions at Punct for various national & international (street-) artists.

The works they make today are highly influenced by the works they used to make in the streets, their love for screenprinting and by their role as women in the ‘street-art’scene.
